I recently got a call from the number 03006301017, which claimed to be from HMRC regarding a tax fraud case. They were demanding a payment over the phone. When I requested to confirm that they were indeed HMRC, the line suddenly went dead. Upon attempting to return the call, I found it to be an invalid number. The individual on the line spoke with a strong Indian accent and introduced himself as Brian Cooper. It certainly appears to be a scam!
