Got a call today, and when I picked up, I caught some faint noise in the back, sounded like an office buzz. Then, as soon as I answered, they just went silent and ended the call. Seems dodgy to me! Maybe they're making sure the number's active before hitting me with a scam later on.

It was about 11 o’clock at night when my phone rang, just after I'd tucked myself in. I rushed down quickly but the caller had already ended the call before I could answer. It’s so frustrating since calls at that hour could be something urgent concerning family.

I received a rather dodgy phone call from someone claiming to represent BT, insisting that I had put in a request to terminate my internet service. I had to inform them that BT isn’t even my internet provider! They went on about how BT oversees everything as the primary provider, which didn’t seem right to me. They promised to send some sort of link via email to alter the cancellation. I told them I’d reach out to my actual internet provider - though the truth is I had no plans to do that whatsoever. After that, they abruptly ended the call. What a scam!

This person called me saying they were from BT claiming I'd asked to cancel my internet. I told them BT isn’t my supplier, but they insisted BT runs everything as the main provider. They mentioned they'd email me a link to reverse the cancellation. I said I’d get in touch with my actual provider (which I wasn’t going to do) and then they just disconnected... Definitely a scam!

I didn’t answer, it just went straight to voicemail and they didnt leave a message. Probably just a spam call or some kind of nuisance.

got a call from a guy with an indian accent sayin he was from my internet tech support. i told him i wasnt a customer and to stop calling me back. he started shouting and used really rude language, even threatened me which was really disturbing.
