I received a call earlier today. When I picked up, there was a little bit of what sounded like an office atmosphere in the background, but then they just disconnected without uttering a single word. Quite odd, if you ask me! It’s possible they’re just confirming that my number is active before attempting some sort of dodgy sales pitch or scam.

I received a call claiming to be from BT, stating there was an issue with my router. It’s clearly a scam; nothing's amiss with BT on my end.

Tried to get in touch about a phantom internet service - total con!

I received a call just as I was settling in for the night, about 11 o'clock. I rushed downstairs, but by the time I reached the phone, the caller had already disconnected. It's quite vexing, as calls at that hour might well signify a family emergency.

I received a rather dodgy phone call from someone claiming to represent BT, insisting that I had put in a request to terminate my internet service. I had to inform them that BT isn’t even my internet provider! They went on about how BT oversees everything as the primary provider, which didn’t seem right to me. They promised to send some sort of link via email to alter the cancellation. I told them I’d reach out to my actual internet provider - though the truth is I had no plans to do that whatsoever. After that, they abruptly ended the call. What a scam!

I missed the call as it rang through to voicemail, but there was no message left behind. I'm led to believe it was just another nuisance call, probably someone trying to waste my time.

got a call from a guy with an indian accent sayin he was from my internet tech support. i told him i wasnt a customer and to stop calling me back. he started shouting and used really rude language, even threatened me which was really disturbing.
