Honestly, I don’t think it’s a scam. The NHS website itself confirms it’s genuine, and if you just search that number on Google, the NHS helpline page pops up as the third link. So yeah, it looks legit to me.

I got a call from a bloke saying he was from the NHS vaccination team. He sounded totally uninterested. Before he said anything else, he asked for my date of birth and the first bit of my address or my NHS number. I stupidly gave him my birthday. Then he asked for the start of my address and said it didn’t match what he’d been given by my doctor’s surgery. He told me I could book my jab through an NHS email or website or something. Not sure about this at all, feels a bit off.
