Just like someone else mentioned before, honestly, people are being daft!! No one can really do much with just your date of birth and where you live. Your name and address are all over the electoral register, and your birthday is often on social media anyway!!

The NHS vaccine team gave me a ring saying I hadn’t done my flu shot yet. I never got it because my gp told me I didn’t qualify. But it turns out I actually do. I’ve had letters before asking me to get my flu jab so this call wasn’t really out of the blue for me.

Got a call from 03005610230 around 7.20pm, initially talking about the covid vaccine. I wasn’t about to confirm if I’d had it, but then she switched to asking about the flu jab. I challenged her on that and she then denied ever mentioning covid. I asked why I’d never had a call like this in past years and she said it was for a survey. Pretty much the same spiel I’ve read from others here. I didn’t share any details and told her I’d only discuss this with my doctor’s surgery.

Hi, this is Paula from the NHS, calling about your flu vaccination. She rings loads but always ends up on my voicemail. I've had all my jabs up to date, you'd think they'd have that on record?

Said he was from the NHS vaccination crew about the flu jab for this "winter season." I never picked up, just let it ring to voicemail. They rang me three times in one week. It was a bloke, didnt leave his name once, but on the last call he told me to check the NHS website for info, and I couldn't find anything there! If this is legit, why not give your name? I already had my flu shot in October and covid jab is scheduled for tomorrow!

Got a call tonight about a flu vaccination. The woman seemed really professional but afterwards I felt a bit iffy since I’d given her my postcode and birthday. I’m normally super cautious when sharing personal info, so I’m kicking myself now!

I wouldnt share my details with her, said there’s loads of scams going on and it’s causing issues. She said it was for a flu vaccine survey and asked if she could ring back. There’s so many scams about lately, I’m just being careful myself.

A woman called and asked for me by name, saying she was from the vaccination team and was calling about the flu shot. I told her I always have mine done at the doctors every October. She just said that was perfect and thanked me for my time before ending the call.

This number has rung me loads of times now but I’ve never got any letter from the NHS or my doctor about vaccinations. If it’s meant to be the NHS sorting jabs, they’ve not planned it properly at all. Who’s going to trust a random number like that? They should send an official letter first with a proper phone number to book appointments. Like others mentioned, the number could be faked so I’ll just block it.

They claimed to be calling from the "NHS immunisation management service," but it felt quite dodgy, especially since I already had my flu jab a few months back. Since scammers can fake real numbers nowadays, I’m definitely not sharing any personal details on the phone.

Got a call from 0300 561 0230 claiming to be the NHS immunisation team. I’ve already had my jab and even got the appointment for the next one. They should have all that info on file, especially if they have my mobile number. Asking me for more details felt really suspicious. Ended up blocking the number.

I've blocked this number, way too aggressive. They wanted loads of info, already knew who they called before me and kept pestering with more questions to "verify" stuff. These people can jog on. I’d just had my Covid jab and this call made me so annoyed I’m thinking of skipping the next one. Totally insensitive idiots. Haven’t seen a doc in ages and all I get are these daft calls from the NHS, not actually helping with the real issues I’m facing.

This number called me earlier but I missed it, left a message though haven’t had the chance to listen to it yet. From what I’m seeing in the comments, it seems I’m supposed to get a letter from the NHS about some vaccination. I’ve not got anything like that yet - maybe it’s coz I’m from a minority group and this is how they quietly exclude some people here? The UK feels really down these days with Brexit, Covid and now who knows what comes next. - d.

Got a call from 03005610230 about the flu jab, asked for my info, told them I’m not interested and wouldn’t share my details on the phone. Said I’d just wait to hear from my GP if needed.

Yet another outside firm working with the NHS. Honestly, they came off quite aggressive. Asked way too many personal questions. I just ended the call because I wasn’t comfortable giving out private info like that. Feels like a pointless use of time trying to get the flu jab. Hang on though, isn’t the flu kinda not an issue anymore?

People really need to stop worrying that just having their date of birth and address means someone can cause serious trouble. How do you reckon they get hold of all your details AND help arrange flu or covid vaccinations without checking it’s actually you? Honestly, if you’re that worried, maybe have a look on the NHS site for info instead of jumping to conclusions or just not answering unknown calls. It’s not as risky as people make it out to be without any proof.

I got a call at work but couldn’t make out what the bloke was saying cos of his thick foreign accent. He said he’d call me after 5 pm on Monday but ended up ringing me during my work hours. He’s even tried calling our house even though my partner told him I’m at work. Really annoying, and his voicemail messages are just as hard to understand.

just to clear things up for anyone saying 03005610240 is the right NHS number, the 0240 bit is actually linked to the Covid scheme. The number 03005610230 is for the flu programme, they’re two different projects working at the same time.

Got multiple calls from this number and even a few voicemails. Tried to answer today but the bloke I talked to was really hard to understand. He was asking about the flu jab and wanted me to confirm stuff like my date of birth. I told him I don’t share personal info over the phone. He then sounded like he was just reading from a script and told me to check with my doctor or local chemist. He mumbled something else after that, but honestly, I couldn’t make out what he said! I just hung up. Proper odd and a bit worrying!!

I got a call from someone working with the NHS about vaccinations, just checking if I’d been offered the flu jab and whether I planned to get it done. They also made it clear the flu vaccine shouldn’t cost anything as it’s free through the NHS. This definitely isn’t a scam, just a reminder for folks who qualify to get the flu vaccine.

I never got any letter or a text or email from my GP or the NHS about the flu jab, and I usually get a text reminder. Is 03005610240 really a legit number for the NHS Immunisation Management Service?

This site is genuine. They phone about flu and covid vaccinations. If you check the NHS official page, they have details on this and the phone number too. My local GP’s website also shows the same number.

Got a call from Higher Walton Preston, they already knew my full name and said I needed a vaccine. I told them I already had it, then she asked for more info so I just hung up.

Its the NHS, yeah, the same ones we all applauded, innit? Cut them some slack, they’re only working to get more folks to take the flu and Covid jabs to keep the NHS fit and running.

Someone rang saying they were from the NHS about my vaccine. They even said my full name. When they asked if I had a minute to chat, I said no and just hung up. Feels like a dodgy scam to me.

03005610230 Watch out, this number is a scam. The NHS will only contact you through your GP surgery if it’s about a phone appointment. This lot is pretending to ask about flu and Covid vaccinations but really they’re just after your personal info, asking you to prove who you are. They’re not legit at all. The NHS already has your details and wouldn’t need to double or triple check like this. Don’t fall for it!

They knew my full name and said they were ringing from the NHS about vaccinations. They asked if I wanted a flu jab, but when I told them I’d already had it, they said they needed to ask some more questions to update their system, so I ended the call there. If it was really the NHS, they’d already have all my info, including the flu jab I’d had. Feels like a scam to me, probably trying to trick people expecting COVID vaccine calls into letting their guard down.

They claimed to be from the NHS about a flu jab but when I said no, they tried to ask more questions. I gave my name and postcode, but they said it didn’t match their records so they couldn’t go on. They said the info came from my GP, so I rang them and they had the right details and said they never sent anyone like that. Apparently they send letters, not calls.

This isnt the actual NHS! Just ring your GP, they’ll have everything you need. Its some firm who got loads of big contracts just to mess around with your info. DON’T LET THEM IN! THEY’RE JUST DIGGING FOR DATA FOR THE GOV. WORK FROM HOME WITH NEXT TO NO TRAINING. STAY CLEAR!

To the bloke saying you cant get dodgy calls from 0300 numbers since they're just for gov or charity use, well ive had loads of calls from 0300 numbers claiming to be HMRC, so what’s that all about then????

I’m struggling to see any connection between this number and an official NHS site. They rang me and used my full name, then asked for my date of birth, postcode, and house number to “make sure it was me,” only to then ask if I’d got my flu vaccine yet. Ever since all this covid stuff started, I’ve had loads of calls like this - it’s just nonsense and honestly feels like harassment.

Got a call saying it was from NHS about immunisation, I nearly thought it was a scam at first. But she asked for me using my full name, middle name included, so I figured it was legit. Was hoping the call was about the covid jab so I stayed on, but turns out she was only ringing about the flu vaccine, which I already had a few months back.

I got a call from the number (03005610230) saying they were from the NHS Immunisation centre. The woman on the phone was very polite and friendly. She mentioned it was about the covid jab. She asked for my date of birth and said the call was being recorded for training. I asked her for more proof of who she was, and she gave my GP’s name. She also said I could look up the number online for more info. I’d really like the NHS to confirm if this number is legit or not, so people don’t get scammed. Thanks, Engr Dlaw

They might say it’s ‘safe’, but when do all those calls cross the line into being harassment? Seems like they just won’t stop ringing.

Called by NHS Immunisation Services, not a scam at all. They're just checking if you've had your flu jab, and if not, they gently remind you that you're entitled to one. They'll ask for the first part of your address and DOB, or your NHS number if you prefer. It's a fresh initiative to help keep NHS beds free from flu cases, especially important this year with Covid still around. You don’t have to be friendly, but being polite doesn’t cost anything really.

They wanted my info but I told them they already have it since they called me first, then I asked what info they had and they said they couldn’t say for security reasons! So I said there’s no way I’m giving my info if they can’t prove who they are, then they just hung up. 😂

It’s the NHS Covid Vaccination team calling, definitely not some scam, if you’re not comfortable sharing your info then just don’t, it’s really that easy. But please remember they’re just trying to do their job to keep us SAFE so no need to be rude.

I was a bit iffy about this number at first, so I called the NHS and gave them the digits. They looked up my partner's info and said it was legit, from a brand new service that started today. Basically, they're calling to ask why we haven't accepted the flu jab offer yet.

Got a call from this number today. The person asked to confirm my name and brought up a letter about a flu jab I haven’t had yet, which I found odd. Then they wanted me to verify my address, date of birth and postcode. The call suddenly ended on me, and now I’m worried it might have been some kind of scam and they got too much info. But how would they know about the letter? Or maybe that’s just something they say to trick people? Just a heads up to be cautious - it really threw me off. Would appreciate if someone can confirm this is actually genuine.

Got a call from this number earlier today, saying they were from NHS England making sure “everyone” had their flu jab. I know some folks say different, but I really doubt NHS England would just ring people out of the blue like that - usually your local GP handles that stuff. Be careful and don’t hand over your info to them.

They just wanted me to verify my date of birth, postcode, and the first part of my address. I hadn’t had a flu jab yet but they said it’s still being offered until March - I told them I have asthma. Didn’t ask for anything more than what the GP receptionist would normally ask.

This really is the NHS ringing you up, they just want your info to update your personal records. All the details come from your GP surgery anyway, so you can ask them to verify your surgery and they'll happily confirm it. Please don’t jump to call it a scam without any proof. If you’re uneasy about sharing your info, then don’t - they won’t force you. But calling it a scam is risky when people are just doing their job and helping look after the NHS. A quick 30 second check on the official NHS website will show this number is legit.

I’ve had this number ring me a couple of times, leaving a message claiming they’re from the NHS vaccination team. I’m a bit suspicious and haven’t picked up. Lately, loads of different 0300 numbers have been hassling us on our home phone, and BT have said that most 0300 calls are dodgy. I already discussed the flu jab with my GP, so if this is genuine, I can’t see why they’d be calling me now.

These people seem to be collecting info for the NHS to check who qualifies for flu shots. If you should be getting the flu vaccine but aren’t getting any invites yet, they can probably fix your details so you receive one. I’m guessing this service will be handy for the Covid vaccine rollout as well.

NHS Immunisation Management Services calls are legit. They need to check they're speaking to the right person, specially if it’s a mobile number since phones can get lost or nicked. The folks on the line are pretty decent, just doing their bit to help the NHS by letting people know if they can get a free flu jab. They won’t hassle you to answer loads of questions, just be polite and say no thanks and ask them not to ring again if you’re not interested.

My phone straight up labelled this as a scam. If they’re from the flu jab clinic, why not just send a letter or email instead? I’ve been after a flu jab for ages, I’m 33 and not high risk or anything, but in my area, there’s simply none available anywhere close by. So unless they actually have the jab ready to go, it’s all pointless really.
