Just an update about this number - it’s definitely not a scam! Turns out, it’s a Community Alarm Telecare Service. I rang BT to double check, and they said it gets triggered when someone taps their wrist band or similar gadget. Depending on your phone plan, you can chat with your provider about costs and options. My dad’s alarm kept going off even without him falling, like when he was shaking hands, so they’re coming out to adjust it and make it less touchy. Sorry for any confusion COMMUNITY ALARMS!

Had a look at my dad’s phone bill - he’s 98 - and I can’t believe he’s been billed for calls from this number! They’ve been ringing him constantly, even in the middle of the night like 3am and 4:30am. Absolute lowlifes. I’m fuming right now and will be getting in touch with his phone company to put a stop to this. This is just disgusting.

My 96-year-old mother-in-law, who’s a little muddled lately, has been getting loads of calls from this number and it's showing up as charges on her bill. My mother, who suffers from Alzheimer's, has been receiving incessant calls from this number. It seems they might be employing a ring-back system. Her phone charges have skyrocketed as a result. Does anyone know who these callers might be?

A caller reached out to our mum, who unfortunately suffers from dementia. They rang twice - the first call went on for about 15 minutes, followed by another that lasted around 6 and a half minutes. All of this racked up a whopping bill of £140!
