I got a call on my landline from someone claiming to be from HMRC, threatening me with jail time and demanding voucher payments. If you get something like this, just end the call immediately and let HMRC know. They actually try to track these scammers down and get them blocked. Definitely don’t fall for it!

I missed the call and they didn’t bother leaving a voicemail. If they claim to be from a legit UK company or government body, don’t believe it - they’re definitely not genuine! Never share your personal info, especially your bank details, even if they say they’re from HMRC or anything similar. Best steer clear of them!
