I got an email that included a phone number and a link claiming to be from the NHS. They wanted me to verify my address either by calling the number or through the link. When I checked the official NHS site, I couldn’t find any page like that. So, I looked up the number here and found nothing legit. The NHS has never asked me to confirm my details like that before. It felt really dodgy. I marked it as risky - if it’s a scam, they’re fishing for quite a bit of personal info over the phone, not just an address.

Looks like it’s back in use again (was told it’s been off since Sept 2025). A couple of days ago, I saw a missed call from 03003 112 233. Can’t say for sure what it is yet since I didn’t answer, but I do get the odd fake NHS call now and then, so maybe it’s the same nonsense? We’ll see. Cheers.

I got a call from a woman saying my NHS healthcare plan had run out and I needed to visit their main office to sort out renewal. Something felt off about it because NHS doesn’t work like insurance firms, no fees involved. I didn’t jot down the address she gave me since it seemed dodgy anyway. I really hope the authorities keep an eye on these kinds of scams - people running these cons deserve to be caught and face proper legal action.

Got a call from a number pretending to be the NHS, asking me to visit some "NHS HQ". They didn’t even say which trust they were from or why they wanted me there. Bit sketchy if you ask me.
