Got a call from some place called Horizon Debt Consultants, they claimed to have my info from the Citizen Advice Bureaux and were asking about my so-called unsecured debt. The bloke wasn’t great with his English. I asked him where exactly they got my details from and requested their Data Protection policy (just made that up, tbh). All he did was repeat he was from Horizon Consultants. Told him he sounded like a total scammer and ended the call. Can’t stand these annoying calls, happen every single day!!!

I didn’t pick up the call at first, so I rang back but got a message saying the number was invalid.

A woman called me and mentioned something about having unsecured debts on my account, but I didn't get her name properly. I told her it wasn’t on and asked her to stop this nonsense. Then she just ended the call.

That call was sketchy, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number now.

I've noticed these calls come from call centres checking if a number’s active. You can usually catch the odd ‘beep’ sound during the call. They do this so that they can then sell the active numbers on to other call centres who use them for spamming. Proper annoying, really.

Got a call but no message left and when I tried calling back, it wouldn’t go through. Usually means trouble so I just blocked the number.
