I got a text with the number to arrange my covid booster jab appointment.

So, I got a text from my local GP surgery PNC saying to book my booster jab online and if I had any questions or wanted to cancel, to ring the number they sent. I called them and it was actually the legit Covid vaccination centre. They were pretty helpful and even offered me an appointment. But I had to say no cos I’d already booked one the day before through an NHS text. Seems like this number sorts out appointments for local GP networks, whereas the NHS one deals with your postcode area.

I got a call with no caller ID, and in the voicemail, they left this number saying something about my second vaccine. I rang 119 to check if the number was legit, but they just told me to ignore it. Seems dodgy to me.

tried ringing this number to book a covid vaccine and it was busy the whole day. they really ought to explain properly how appointments are arranged so folks aren’t left guessing and getting frustrated like this.

My mate got a message telling her to ring this number to book her covid jab. She ended up ringing 119, and the NHS said it was a dodgy number, just a scam.
