Got a call on Wednesday around 11am from a recorded voice claiming to be the IRS saying I was involved in some illegal activities, which I’m pretty sure I’m not. They told me to press 1 or they’d arrest me right away. I just hung up straight away and didn’t answer back, but now I’m really worried if this was legit or a scam. I tried looking up the number but came up with nothing. Can someone please confirm if this is real? I’m stressed about the idea of being arrested over something I didn’t do!
