7 yearsI received a rather disconcerting automated call purporting to be from the tax office, claiming I'd been implicated in some dubious activities. Now, to my understanding, I haven’t done anything wrong! The message went on to say that failing to press 1 would result in my arrest without delay. It was around 11 am on a Wednesday when they rang. I promptly hung up, but I'm left in a bit of a quandary as to whether this is the real deal or just some crafty scam. I’ve searched high and low for details on the number, but to no avail.
