Got a call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, but when I phoned back, they dodged all my questions about what department they were with and why they wanted my info. In the end, they just hung up! Definitely a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, telling me there's a fraud case in my name and they have a warrant for my arrest. They told me to press 1 or they'd arrest me. It’s shocking how these nasty scammers operate, especially since lots of elderly folks might actually press 1 out of fear. They really play on people’s worries about debts. Honestly, something needs to be done to put a stop to this rubbish.

Totally sounds like one of those common HMRC scams. I’ve had a couple before so I was suspicious right away, but I decided to hit 1 just to check it out. Ended up speaking to a quite rude and pushy lady with an Asian accent, who just hung up as soon as I asked her what the call was about. Be careful out there, and never ever share your bank info if you get a random call like that!

Got a robocall claiming it was from HMRC threatening to arrest me if I didn’t press 1. Honestly, HMRC doesn’t get in touch like that, and there’s no way they’d ask for your bank info over the phone. It’s just a scam, don’t fall for it.
