Some bloke called me up claiming I wasn’t paying my tax. Obviously, that’s not how it works when you’re employed here in the UK - my tax is sorted through my paycheck. It was totally dodgy, they weren’t from HMRC or anything official, just trying to scam me into handing over money for “tax” that doesn’t exist. Proper con!

I just had a call from some dodgy call centre in India, with a robotic voice pretending to be HMRC warning about tax fraud. Don’t fall for it, HMRC only writes letters, they never call like that! Best thing to do is hang up immediately and never press 1 or anything. Total scam, watch out!
