7 yearsThese scammer muppets are driving me mad! Loads of 0300 numbers sound exactly the same, so I just block them straight away when they ring. I've got BT call protect installed (just to be clear, I don’t work for BT or anything, not advertising), and it’s free to use as is. You can pay for extra features, but mainly, if you get a sketchy call, you just ring 1572 and press ‘1’ twice like it tells you. It’s dead simple and you can do it online too after you’ve checked who it was. Honestly, I can’t stand these dodgy con artists calling about nothing but scams. Proper annoying!BT7 yearsJust got a phone call from someone claiming to be HMRC, but the accent definitely sounded like it was from an Indian call centre with people talking in the background. Don’t pick up if you get a call like this! Better to block and report it straight away!HMRC7 yearsGot a call pretending to be from HMRC telling me to press 1 or I'd get arrested. Total scam, don’t fall for it!HMRCSubmit Your Own Report (0300 209 3050)
