I got a call from a woman with a really thick Indian accent, she sounded a bit unsure when I kept asking her who she was representing. She kept going on about it being “on behalf of HMRC!!” like over and over again.

I received a call purporting to be from the HMRC, alleging that there was a fraud matter concerning me. The caller insisted that I press "1" at once to connect with the relevant department handling my case, warning that if I failed to do so, a warrant for my arrest would be issued without delay. Quite alarming, to say the least!
