Just got a call telling me I needed to press 1 because apparently I’d been involved in tax fraud and if I didn’t, the police were gonna come arrest me! It was one of those robotic voices and the whole thing only lasted about half a minute. I ended the call straight away, but I can totally see how someone less tech-savvy might panic. I’ve already contacted HMRC to let them know about it.
