I got a call saying there was a tax fraud case against me. They told me if I didn't hit 1 to sort it out, they’d send a warrant and I’d get arrested. Definitely a scam, so I just blocked them.

Just a heads up about 0300 200 2949 - it looks like a legit number but it’s actually dodgy. Got a weird robotic voice trying to freak you out. Best thing is not to pick up or respond, just block it straight away.

total rubbish. got a call from some voice saying i'd be arrested since “someone” supposedly put a tax fraud complaint on me. said i had to press 1 or else id be arrested?! come on, does hmrc really talk like that? absolutely not. just blocked the number straight away!

Got a recorded message from someone saying they were from the tax office, claiming I’m involved in some tax fraud case. I just hung up straight away. Would tell anyone else to do the same and not fall for it.
