Absolute scam! They go all out saying they're gonna get the cops on you, like that’s ever gonna happen. Honestly, they must figure everyone’s daft. It’s really sad to think about the poor folks who actually believe this rubbish.

Got a call off some bloke who didn’t sound English at all. Said he was from HMRC and wanted to know if I’d got any letters from them ‘cause apparently they’d been trying to reach me. He knew my name and where I live, which was a bit odd. When he asked again about the letters, I told him no. Then he told me to call the local office, but I said no, and asked why I should. I then asked for my National Insurance number, and he gave me one, but it wasn’t mine at all. After that, the call just cut off suddenly.

I got a robocall warning me about tax evasion, it sounded fishy. Definitely a scam, so don’t bother answering. A couple of weeks back, I had pretty much the same thing but the call came from an Indian centre. These scammers really need to be shut down.

So this number keeps ringing me, supposedly from HMRC, saying there’s some sort of fraud case against me. They warned I’d get arrested straight away if I didn’t hit one on my phone. Ha, what a load of rubbish!

A few weeks back, my aunt got a call from someone claiming they were from HMRC and tried to con her out of more than £600. Thankfully she realised it was a scam before anything happened. We’ve made sure to block that number now to stop it happening again. These scammers preying on vulnerable folks is just awful.
