I got a call saying there was some fraud claim on my name and to press 1 to talk to someone from HMRC. Turns out, HMRC would never phone you about something like that - they always send letters first. I nearly got caught out by this scam before, but thankfully I realised what it was just in time. Learned to be more careful now!
