They claimed to be from HM Revenue and Customs, but I didn't hang about for a chit-chat and promptly hung up. If it’s genuinely them, they can very well send me a letter. Seems like a dodgy scam, if you ask me!

Received a robotic telephone call purporting to be from HMRC, alleging that I’ve been involved in tax fraud, and warning me of an impending arrest if I didn’t hit #1. The number displayed was 0300 2008420.

Received a right dodgy call today from these numbers: 03002009772 03002003339 03002002598 An automated voice claimin' to be from HMRC, spouting some nonsense about me being linked to a fraud case. They said if I didn’t press 1, they’d be issuing a warrant for my arrest! Total rubbish! Have swiftly blocked those numbers.
