I got a call from +44 300 200 8377 claiming to be from HMRC, but it turned out to be fishy. They left me waiting on hold for like 5 minutes, then when someone picked up, they just hung up immediately. When I tried ringing back, the number was dead. Definitely a scam!

Got a dodgy text claiming to be from HMRC - looks like a total scam. Just ignore it, definitely best not to reply! Caller ID just showed Spam - HMRC, so be careful.
