I’ve just received a rather alarming message on my phone, claiming there’s a problem with my taxes. It went on to warn that if I don’t respond immediately, a warrant for my arrest could be issued! Quite the scare, isn’t it?

Interestingly, this number bears a striking resemblance to one that has just been flagged as a fraudulent HMRC contact. The only distinction seems to be in the final four digits.
