7 yearsLoads of different numbers have been ringing me claiming to be from HMRC, saying I owe money for some supposed tax fraud. They were threatening legal action, saying there’s a warrant for £857.65 and that if it goes to court, the costs could be ten times that amount. When I asked where they were based, they gave the House of Commons as their address! Absolutely a scam. I got in touch with HMRC myself and they confirmed it wasn’t them at all.HMRCHouse of CommonsSubmit Your Own Report (0300 200 7957)
