This number rang me earlier and a robotic voice said my phone was linked to some sort of scam. I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from a blocked number with a recorded message claiming to be from HMRC. Totally a scam, don’t trust it.

I’d just come off the phone with the tax people, so when a nearly identical number showed up I answered straight away. They claimed to be from the tax office and told me I was being investigated for fraud and asked if I had a solicitor. When I started asking more questions, they suddenly hung up on me.
