Received a rather dodgy phone call today from someone claiming to be from HMRC, insisting there was a legal matter involving me. Curiously, he wanted me to verify my name and address, although he seemed to be entirely in the dark about my details. Clearly a scam aimed at fleecing unsuspecting folks by impersonating HMRC!
