got a call where some recorded message claimed to be from hmrc saying if i didn’t press 11 i’d be arrested. i just ended the call immediately and made sure to report it to hmrc afterwards. total scam.

I received a call this afternoon from +44 300 200 5915 claiming to be from HMRC, alleging that someone had engaged in fraudulent activities using my name. They insisted that if I didn’t press 1, I would face an arrest warrant. Quite alarming!
