I picked up the call and the moment I answered, they just hung up. When I tried ringing them back, it came up "this number is not in service." I’m not exactly sure what scam they’re running, but it’s clearly dodgy. Best to just ignore it and not bother.

I've been getting calls from people pretending to be from HMRC, claiming there's a tax fraud issue and threatening arrest if you don’t press 1. They've been ringing from a few different numbers, all beginning with 0300. It's clearly a scam, so watch out!
