Got a call saying my account's under fraud investigation, and if I didn't respond they'd issue a warrant for my arrest. Then they just ended the call. Sounds dodgy to me, definitely wouldn't be left on an answerphone message like that.

Well, someone rang me pretending to be from HMRC. Just so you know, HMRC don’t actually ring you up - they’ll always send a letter if they want to get in touch. Be careful, it’s probably a scam!

Got a missed call from this number, but when I tried ringing back, no one answered and there was no voicemail left.

I picked up and said hello, then a recorded voice started saying something about H M Revenue & Customs and an investigation. Complete nonsense, if you ask me. I’ve called back three times just to check!
