Got a call out of the blue saying I supposedly owe HMRC £1527 following some 'random audit'. I mentioned I was only working part time during that time, and then the person on the other end just cut the call.

This number called me claiming I’d done tax fraud and that there was a warrant for my arrest. I told them my employer deducts tax straight from my salary, so how could that be true? The person then said I should double-check my payments. After going back and forth with them, I told them to come and arrest me if they wanted, then I just ended the call!
