I tried ringing them back but hid my number, and all I got was a message saying "No services are available on this number."

This number 0300 2003741 rang me up and said I need to press 1 or they'd send a warrant for my arrest over some tax fraud stuff. I just ignored it and didn’t hit 1, then the call just dropped on its own.

Got a call just now from a number claiming to be HMRC saying I had to press 1 or I'd be arrested for tax fraud. I didn’t even answer, it just went straight to voicemail on my mobile. The number was 0300 200 3741. Definitely a scam, be careful!

Got a call just like others, saying I was under investigation for tax fraud and to press 1 to get more info. I just ended the call straight away because I know HMRC wouldn’t ring you about something like that over the phone. Reported it to HMRC as well. The number was +44 300 200 3741.

Saw a bloke called Paul Chowdhury blow the whistle on Facebook saying it's a total HMRC scam, not the real HMRC at all. Followed his tip no to give any info, just call 'em "penchaudas" and hang up quick. The caller came from 0300 200 3741. Cheers, Paul!

Just like everyone else, I got a call from the tax people saying if I don’t hit 1 I’m in trouble with the cops.
