I got a call from someone saying they were with HMRC, warning me about tax fraud and that if I didn’t press 1 to speak to their call centre, I’d be arrested. It sounded like a call centre based in India or somewhere similar, and the bloke on the other end seemed pretty baffled before he just ended the call.

Got a robocall saying it was from HMRC, saying I was under investigation for dodgy tax stuff. Totally not true for me. I reckon it was a scam to try and squeeze money out of me. Luckily, I hung up before they could ask for any cash.
