Got a call from someone pretending to be "HMRC" but it was obvious a scam. Hung up straight away, but before I could do that, I accidentally hit 1 and ended up talking to some guy with an Indian accent called Brian or something. Total rubbish!

I got a call from HMRC threatening me with arrest unless I gave them my address and bank details. I did what they asked, but so far, no sign of any arrest!

I just ignored the call, and after seeing what others have said, it’s clear I wasn’t missing out on anything. These numbers, 03002003142 and 03002003126, have called me a couple of times in the past week too.

Got a call telling me it was HMRC about some fraud thing. They told me to hit 1, so I did, but then the call just dropped. Tried ringing back and it said there’s no service on that number. Turned my phone off just to be safe, don’t want them getting access to any of my info.

0300 200 3152 - yep, same here! I got a proper fright when they said I had a warrant out and could be arrested right away! I don’t get why this number’s still active either, especially since it got mentioned on Sky News back in November.

Just got a call from someone claiming they were HMRC. They said if I didn’t hit 1, I'd be arrested straight away with an arrest warrant out for me. Complete scam, so I just ended the call and blocked the number. Be careful with these sorts of calls!

Got a call that definitely seemed dodgy, thought it was a scam for sure.

Just like loads of others have said, it’s one of those HMRC tax fraud calls. I didn’t press 1 because I figured it would probably redirect you to a pricey premium line. When I rang the number directly, it told me there wasn’t any service on that line and then it cut off. I bet they’ll just try ringing me again from a different dodgy number soon enough.

Got a call earlier today but ignored it since I didn’t know the number and there was no voicemail either. After seeing what others have posted, I’m pretty sure it’s a scam, so I’ve gone ahead and blocked it.

You’d expect that nowadays they’d be able to track and trace these numbers easily. It’s crazy how many calls come through with no ID or info. You’d think technology would have sorted this out by now.
