some guy with an indian accent called me, called himself steve johnson or something, barely spoke proper english, said he was from HMRC. he was saying i owe £1850 to customs and if i dont pay up they’d come to my house and maybe even arrest me. total scam. honestly, get a real job, you muppet!

That call was defo a hmre scam, I’m sure those guys will get caught. Pressing anything just made it hang up straight away, I didn’t even bother with option one.

Got a voicemail from someone with a posh English accent saying they're from HMRC. They claimed I’m involved in tax fraud and threatened arrest if I didn’t reply. Then asked me to press a number to keep going. I just ended the call straight away.
