I just got a recorded call telling me there was a fraud case from HMRC against me. They said if I didn’t press 1 right away, I was going to be arrested. Seems a bit off to me, doubt HMRC would handle things like that.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from HM Revenue & Customs saying I was involved in some kind of fraud. They told me to press 1 or else they'd send a warrant to get me arrested soon. It felt really sketchy to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC saying if I didn’t hit 1, I’d get arrested. Surely that has to be a scam - why would HMRC send an automated message instead of a real person if I actually owed them money? I’m certain I don’t owe anything to them.
