I’ve just been informed that if I don’t hit the number one, I’ll be taken into custody! I’ve never come across such nonsense before in my entire existence!

I keep receiving calls from this number that I simply don’t recognise. When I picked up, there was a preposterous message claiming that I had an outstanding debt and that failure to settle it would result in my arrest! They even prompted me to press 1 for further instructions, which I wisely declined. It’s obviously a scam, so just a heads up to anyone who might be getting the same nuisance.
