Received a call from this number not too long ago. I've decided to block it now.

These phone calls are a blatant misuse of the telephone system. I encountered the same intimidation tactic demanding that I press '1' or face potential legal consequences. It didn’t take me long to recognise this for the scam it truly is, yet I can’t help but feel concerned for those who might be more susceptible to such tricks.

Once again, I’ve had one of those tiresome automated calls, sounding as though it’s straight out of a bad B-grade film. The thing went on about a "FRAUD ticket linked to your name" and warned that unless I hit 1, they'd assume I was keen on a stay in the slammer, with the police paying me a visit at home. Honestly, it’s the same old nonsense, likely from the same dodgy bunch-if you can even call them that-just on a different number this time. Best advice? Just hang up on these blokes wasting precious air.
