Loads of times I've had calls from this number and also 0300 200 3145 claiming there's a fraud case from HMRC against me. The automated voice tells you to hang on the line. Honestly, sounds like a total scam to me...

Got a call today from someone claiming to be with HMRC, who checked that it was me they were talking to. Then they started talking about a criminal case against me for dodging nearly £500 in taxes. I asked them to post me some written confirmation to have on file, but they flat out refused. I ended the call saying there was no point in continuing. The call audio was really crackly and sounded like they were trying to hide a foreign accent. Definitely a SCAM! The number was 03001001089.
