I received a call from a bloke named Scott Russell who claimed to represent the National Crime Awareness Scheme. Initially, he tried to drop some hints about being affiliated with the police, but quickly changed his tune. When I inquired if his purpose was related to marketing, he referred to himself as merely "a campaigner." He was rather cagey about providing more specific details, merely stating "Cheshire" as his location, before abruptly ending the call. Quite odd, to say the least!
