I got this number, 03000 579 347, from the HMRC VAT helpline, told it was for getting through to the HMRC Solicitors Office and Legal Services. When I called, the hold music was pretty chill and not what I expected at all. After about 9 minutes, a recorded voice asked me to leave a message, which I did. I'm really hoping the agent gave me the right contact! It's strange how secretive they are when it's their debt to us or when we're trying to sort things out with them.
