Lately ive been gettin calls from numbers startin with 030000, clearly scams so I just let it ring out to voicemail since its a landline. Today a call came from 0011443002003502, so I looked it up on the 1471 service. The message left said some legal threats n told me to press 1 to connect to a case officer, sounded like a robotic voice. Def no real call, just another scam trying their luck.

Sounds like another sham HMRC call, just trying to con people. Stay alert!

Total nonsense, like the tax office would ever send an automated call. Spam straight to blocked.

If you get a call with a robotic voice giving you some “important” info, it’s best to just ignore it. Legit companies don’t use pre-recorded messages like that for serious stuff. Sounds like a scam to me. Just end the call straight away!

I just got a call from this number saying I’d be arrested if I didn’t press 1. They said it was from HMRC, but I know tax people don’t ring your personal phone or use an automated message like that. Best thing is to just hang up, don’t answer any prompts, and maybe block it or report it. Don’t get caught out!

Just got a call from 03002003176 claiming to be HMRC, but it was a total scam. Legit HMRC won't ring you up threatening anything out of the blue. Normally, they send a letter in the post first. If you’re ever in doubt, double-check everything on the official GOV.UK site. Also, consider creating an account with HMRC online so you can check your info straight from the source. Don’t fall for these dodgy calls!

Got a call from 03000301000 saying they were from HMRC and threatening arrest unless I paid £432 straight away. I nearly got caught out, but when I asked for payment details, they told me to pay it to an individual rather than a company. That’s when I knew it was dodgy and ended the call.
