7 yearsGot a call from some robot voice claiming to be from HMRC’s tax fraud team, saying if I didn’t hit 1, the police would come arrest me. I pressed 1 and a guy with a thick accent asked for my name. Didn’t give him my real one, made up something on the spot. Then he told me my real name, but I didn’t say anything back. When I asked what the issue was, he just said it was tax fraud and to hang up or the police were coming.
