I just got a letter too and thank god I looked up the number first. They actually came round to my house claiming to be a bailiff called Donny Campbell. Turns out it’s a scam, I’m definitely reporting it to the police.

I'm so tired of getting letters from people asking for money I don't owe at all. It’s really frustrating!

I received a letter claiming to be from HM Courts & Tribunals Service saying we owe £3,506.07 and must pay up. It didn’t mention what the supposed debt was for. Luckily, we don’t owe anything and spotted straight away it was a scam. The letter seemed pretty official at first, but there were mistakes like wrong phone numbers and postcode. Honestly, these scammers have no shame at all.

Got a letter through the door from HM Courts & Tribunal Services demanding £300 in a day or they'll come and take my stuff. Thing is, that debt was cleared ages ago! Proper worryin' stuff, not sure what to do.

It’s a bunch of scammers pretending to be from HMRC. I do owe a bit, but not to the name on that letter. The notice came on a pink sheet, saying HMRC and tribunals, with that number on it. When I checked this site and read others’ stories, I suspected it was a con. Official stuff from HMRC or DVLA normally arrives in a brown envelope, so that gave it away straight away.

I got some threatening letters about fake court cases that aren't real at all. They seem to grab phone numbers from online databases just to try and trick people. Total scam!

Just got a letter claiming I owed £280, supposedly from HM courts debt collectors. It didn’t feel right so I rang the company the debt was supposedly linked to and they had no clue about it. When I looked up the number online loads of others had similar experiences - it’s definitely a scam. Don’t send them any cash and make sure you tell the police about it!

Got a letter through my door, looks like it’s from Hm Courts and Tribunals Service, but it's all handwritten and about some debt I've never been told about before. Never received any previous letters or emails. They left two numbers to call, one is 07764177915 and the other is 03000132088. Really confused about what this is all about.

My dad got this letter, handwritten with his name, address and some “claim number” plus an “amount to pay”. It looked odd to me, especially since it claimed to be from "Her Majesty's Court". It just didn’t feel right, so we ignored it at first. Just tonight, I decided to google it and turns out it’s a scam! Glad we didn’t fall for it.

Got a letter today from something saying it was the Tribunals Service at HM Courts, but I had no idea what it was about. It had a phone number (0300 0132088) to call, but when I checked, turns out it’s not connected to the courts at all. Pretty sure it’s just a scam.

I received a request to return a call to this number regarding setting up a credit payment. To be honest, it seems rather dodgy to me, as I’m completely in the dark about what they're on about. Credit payment? What’s that all about?

I got a call from this number about a bogus CCJ, asking me to get in touch to sort out some credit payment. It turns out the other number on the paperwork was dodgy too. Avoid them both!
