Got a call from a woman speaking with a heavy Indian accent, claiming to be from HMRC. She said if I didn't hit 1 to be connected, I'd be arrested for fraud within 24 hours! Don't pick up - definitely a scam!

So this person called pretending to work for HMRC, said I was in trouble for tax fraud and could get arrested. They pressured me to pay over the phone to cancel the arrest. Definitely a scam, no doubt! Make sure to report them so others don’t fall for it!

Got a robo call claiming to be from HMRC threatening me with arrest unless I hit 1. They said there was proof of some tax fraud against me. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.
