I had a call from this number earlier today. I reckon the people behind it only make money if they manage to get into your computer - they were way more persistent than others I've dealt with before. I just kept chatting away until it sounded like her boss told her to drop me.

I've received a few calls from this number, with the caller claiming to be from Microsoft Windows. They went on about my account being compromised by someone from India. I decided to cut the conversation short and ended the call.

Just got a call from this number claiming to be tech support trying to fix a serious issue on my laptop. I told the woman I had already registered the laptop and asked her to give me my serial number to prove she was legit. She said I could call another number to verify the call was genuine. I refused and insisted she give me the serial number. After going back and forth a bit, she finally rattled off some random letters and digits that didn't match my serial at all. I called her out on being a scammer and told her she should be ashamed before hanging up. Like others said, total rubbish.

Phone rang and then went dead, bit of a silent call. Probably because I picked up too fast or they thought I wouldn’t fall for their tricks. Once I even played along pretending to be a victim for a little while, it’s quite funny when they catch on that I actually work in IT!!

Some bloke saying he was "James from Technical Support" with a funny accent was all it took for me to shout at him to do a real job and quit their dodgy scams. Next time, I really should trigger the burglar alarm and hold the phone near it. Bit tricky cos I'll probably have both hands covering my ears while doing it! Proper painful.

Just like loads of others, I had a call this morning from a woman with an Indian accent, and last week some bloke with a similar accent rang me. But when I try to ring the number back, it says it’s not valid or can’t be found. How’s that even possible? Does anyone have a clue? More than that, what can we actually do to put a stop to these calls?

This number rang me a couple of times today. First time I told them I don’t even have a computer and they just ended the call. The second time, I recorded everything and plan to share it with the proper authorities to look into it. Don’t listen to anything they say, they’re trying to get access to your computer.

this lady with a West Indian accent phoned me saying there was something wrong with my computer. i said i wasnt next to it but would check later and just left the call open till she hung up.

I managed to keep them talking for about 22 minutes, fully aware it was a scam. I asked for a proper address and contact number, and kept telling him he was trying to scam me. He was pretty stubborn, but I didn’t fall for it. I reckon some folks might have though. As the call went on, his tone got more and more hostile, and in the end he told me to shove it before hanging up. Such a rude bloke. Since then, I’ve had a couple more calls from the same number.

I had a rather dodgy call from someone claiming to be from a "clever" Microsoft Windows team, insisting they needed to access my computer. Well, they certainly didn’t manage to get any access from me!

Got a call from some Microsoft scammers saying my computer was sending them messages, but I don’t even have a Microsoft device. I told them to stop calling and to take my number off their list, but the woman on the line acted like she didn’t get what I was asking. Left my phone down and after a while I just hung up.

Got a call from some bloke called Alex, said he was from Windows support. Rang me around 1:20 this afternoon. Total scam, no doubt about it. Told him we don’t even have any Microsoft stuff here and he just said "Oh" and hung up. Kinda wish I’d kept him on the line for a while just for the laugh. Definitely a dodgy number to block or ignore unless you fancy messing about and wasting their time!

Got a call from a man with an Asian accent pretending to be computer support! Terrible line, sounds dodgy. Had a run-in with these types before. Told him straight up ‘YOU’RE A FRAUD’ and then gave a loud blast on my little whistle I always have near the phone! I’m not having any of these scammers and I’m gonna shout about it on social media too! He definitely messed with the wrong person!

Got a call from 02987 411 0285, a woman with an Indian/Asian-sounding accent saying she was from the Windows tech team. When I asked which of our computers was having issues, she seemed to get really irritable. Definitely felt like a dodgy scam trying to gain remote access and nick personal details.

Same thing happened to us. We had a laugh pretending to be clueless while sipping tea. Kept asking which computer he meant, said we couldnt find the power button. Only the youngsters would get that. After a while he gave a number to ring back but it turned out to be fake. Total con targeting elderly people.

Got a call from some Indian bloke calling himself "Mike" from tech support. When I asked which company he was with, he said Microsoft. Then he wanted me to open the event viewer on my computer to "show errors." I ended up wasting about 5 minutes messing around before blasting some Lemmy (RIP) and Motorhead tunes right down the phone. He quickly hung up after that. Just a heads-up folks, this is a total scam number - don’t get caught out by this rubbish!

A woman with an Indian/Pakistani accent rang me up and told me to switch on my computer, even though it was already on. I gave her a tough time, asking who she was working for and for her phone number, which she said was 0208 8155 1095. She got pretty annoyed. I said I didn’t have a computer at all, which seemed to really annoy her. Then I told her I was a computer engineer, and she asked how I could have so many problems then. After wasting about 15 minutes of her time, she finally hung up.

Got a call from this number at 9 in the morning, and I knew right away it was a scam. I humoured them for a bit and asked the woman, who had an Asian accent, what her name was. She said "Emma Watson" which was a bit dodgy. Then I told her straight out they were just scammers, but she kept insisting she was calling for Microsoft even after I challenged her. Best to steer clear of this one.

Erm, i dont have a computer! Then he said maybe my laptop, i told him i dont own one of those either. He then asked what computer i was on, i said none i really hate computers! They were clearly just trying to get access. Honestly i really dont have any device, but it was so obvious! Be careful, my older family members would've freaked out over this!

He said they’d cut me off from their main server to keep me safe and that he was ringing now to help fix it all. I told him to stop telling me nonsense, then he just ended the call.

Around noon, a bloke rang me claiming my PC was showing errors and running really slow. I told him I’d ask my neighbour to have a look at it, but he said that wasn’t needed. I kept him going on the phone for about 20 minutes before I told him I’m actually a computer engineer and called him out as a scammer, then ended the call.

Got a call from ‘about errors on my computer’ at 08:42, asking how I was. Honestly, these scammers really think they can pull a fast one? “Mickey mouse” here is sick of their nonsense. All they deserve is a firm hang-up and maybe they should try getting an actual job instead of this rubbish. If they ever come back quoting my IP address or my PC serial number, then maybe I’ll actually start paying attention and check my computer properly. Hats off to whoever managed to keep them chatting for ages - my patience gave out ages ago!
