After a pause, I heard a voice with an Asian accent, and I instantly suspected a scam. The caller actually knew my name, and when he mentioned my television, I just cut him off with a firm, ‘No thanks, goodbye!’ and ended the call.

I got a call from Brian who started asking me about some tv maintenance plan, which I’ve never signed up for. I told him I wasn’t interested, and then he said he wasn’t interested either and pretty much rudely told me to buzz off. Such a strange call!
