Someone rang me saying they were from "Lifestyle" with a foreign accent. They wanted to verify some info they supposedly had on me. I wasn't comfortable giving away my address, so I didn’t confirm anything. When I told them to delete my personal info because it was sensitive, the line started crackling and then went silent. After that, they faked answering the call, asking “Who’s there?” and saying “You called me.” It felt like some dodgy call centre run by scammers, probably trying to scam folks by collecting private details.
