I answered the phone but as soon as I did, they just ended the call.

A caller pretending to be from TalkTalk rang up about some issues with our computer. The person had a strong accent, sounded like they were from the Indian subcontinent. Felt a bit dodgy to me.

This number just gave me a dead silence when I answered. Nothing said at all.

I never get calls from bt, openreach, virgin, talktalk or anyone else about tech problems unless I've been the one to ring them first. They don’t really call out of the blue for that kinda thing.
