This morning at precisely 08:05, my wife received a call featuring a pre-recorded voice purporting to be from BT. The message claimed that our Broadband connection was facing issues and that the service was set to be cut off. It urged us to press button One so that an 'Executive technician' could assist in resolving the so-called problem at hand.

To top it off, we received another recorded call around twenty minutes ago, expressing concern about not having taken action on the first message. Fortunately, my wife recognised both communications as scams and wisely chose to ignore them entirely.
