I received a rather dodgy call from someone claiming my life insurance was due for renewal. They had the audacity to impersonate my actual insurance company in a bid to nick my personal information. I've gone ahead and reported the bloke to the police!

I didn’t pick up the first time they rang. From what I can tell, there’s a strong possibility it’s a scam, so just be careful. When I tried to ring back, nobody answered, so I can’t give you much more info. But what I’ve found so far doesn’t seem trustworthy at all.

Some bloke rang up about renewing my life insurance, but I had no idea what he meant. He kept saying I’d been hunting for life cover lately. I told him I hadn’t been and after a quick sorry for the mix-up, he ended the call.
