I got a call from someone saying they were from my mobile provider '3'. They asked what phone model I had and how much I was paying, which was odd since 3 would already have that info. After I told them, they suddenly offered me a ‘better deal’ that meant I didn’t have to return my new phone and it would cost less. Then the call dropped. I rang 3 directly and they said it sounded fishy and that they hadn’t contacted me at all. So yeah, definitely a scam.
