***SCAM*** Got a call from a woman claiming to be from an insurance company, talking about my life insurance. She knew my name and a previous address, but I asked her to tell me what info they had on file, just to be sure who she really was. I also wanted to know when my policy supposedly started and the insured amount, since she said they needed to update my details. As soon as I began asking those questions, she suddenly hung up on me.

Got a call about life insurance today. The person on the line was really confused, first saying they were just calling to talk about the policy, then suddenly switching to trying to sell me one. Proper daft!

So, this woman called herself Mary and was looking for someone at my address with a specific name. She claimed to be calling from House Utopia and wanted to ask me five questions to check if I was eligible for a new boiler. When I asked her for more details about the scheme before answering, she just went silent and then abruptly ended the call. Total scam, for sure. The name she was asking for was one I made up ages ago to mess with cold callers doing their “research.” Nice try, but I’m not falling for it, mate.

I got an email from someone named Rev. Luis Orlando Gonzalez, saying I should ring Barrister John Park about some legacy from Javier De La Rosa. Turns out, this kind of remote inheritance stuff is just a typical con.
